Maria Celada, RN ICPC

Maria is a registered nurse with seven years of experience of delivering high levels of quality care to patients in varying roles. Her education and credentials include an Associate of Science in nursing, a Florida State Board of Nursing license, licensure as a registered nurse, certification in IV therapy, CPR certification, and a certification in ACLS. She is also in the process of completing the infection prevention and control training and certification!

For the past four months, Maria has served as the Assistant Director of Nursing and Infection Preventionist / Infection Control Coordinator here at Palmetto. Her mission in healthcare as she describes is to, “assist team members in the education of infection control policy and procedures, and to assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of national infection control policies.” As one of our clinical leaders, Maria assists in leading and ensuring the quality, safety, and continuity of resident/patient care. She works closely with the entire interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent communication while providing health, wellness, and satisfaction to the residents and patients of Palmetto.
