Helena Bedoya

Helena has been working in healthcare for about three years. Her journey started 10 years ago when her father became ill. Taking care of him inspired her to help others. A few years later, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and began working as a Unit Clerk. Today, she is proud to work as a Concierge at Palmetto Subacute, where she enjoys helping residents, their families, and the team every day. What Helena loves most about her role is spending time with the residents and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. She enjoys talking with them, listening to their stories, and helping in any way possible. Seeing their smiles and knowing she can make their day a little better is the most rewarding part of her job. In her spare time, she likes to rest, read, and crochet. She enjoys having quiet time to relax and recharge. Reading helps her learn and unwind, and crochet is calming and creative for me.
